About Gebrema
Three generations. One craft.
Family-owned since 1950, today in Weesp (Amsterdam). We don't take your order. We take your production.
Gebrema was founded in Amsterdam in 1950. For 75 years, one thing has not changed: the machine runs day and night, and the part is ready Monday morning, identical to Friday's. We are not a job shop and not a spot supplier. We are a long-term manufacturing partner, since before your procurement manager was born.
The dedicated machine slot is the product
We make precision turned components from brass, steel, copper and aluminium. High volumes. Consistent tolerances. Sustained over years, not fulfilled across spot orders. We are a subcontractor; we do not own the end product. We run your parts, on our machines, at your tolerances.
Every other supplier sells you parts. Gebrema sells you production certainty. The parts are simply how that certainty is delivered. One customer relationship is, in effect, a long-term allocation of production capacity. You do not compete for machine time. It is reserved for you.
Process mastery you cannot buy off the shelf
Our machines are conventional rotary transfer machines, ringdraaiautomaten, continuously innovated and refined in-house over 75 years. This is not standard equipment running standard processes. It is a proprietary level of process mastery that took decades to build and cannot be replicated quickly.
Most precision turned parts manufacturers require constant operator attention to hold quality. Our in-house process innovation removes that dependency. Machines run unsupervised through the night and over the weekend, while employees are on site roughly eight hours a day. The stability is built into the process, not the operator.
Alongside the S8 rotary transfer fleet, we operate CNC machines. Not as a separate business, but as a service extension for existing customers who need smaller quantities or dimensions outside the S8 range. One supplier. Your full range.
A natural match for businesses that think in decades
Several of our most significant, long-standing customers are themselves family-owned businesses with 50 to 100 year histories. Family firms share a common psychology: they think in decades, they value stability over disruption, they prioritise relationships over transactions, and they are deeply sceptical of suppliers who over-promise.

The film
Where precision meets innovation.
A family subcontractor since 1950, turning parts for electrofusion, PCB, automotive and electronics on 75 rotary transfer machines that run 24 hours a day, even when the floor is empty.
Family-owned since 1950

Faster production
Optimised parts run at full machine speed from the first run. A small change to a radius, a thread relief or a tolerance band can be the difference between a part that runs unsupervised and one that needs constant intervention.
Better consistency
Parts designed for the process fail less often. A stable process means predictable quality over millions of parts: fewer non-conformances, lower rejection rates, no surprises on delivery.
Lower unit cost
Throughput improvement translates directly into unit economics. No functional compromise: your requirements are the constraint, not an afterthought. We make your design run better, not differently.
