What production volumes does Gebrema run?
From 500,000 to 250,000,000+ pieces per year, per customer, on dedicated machine capacity. We are best suited to long-term, repeat production past the prototype phase, not one-offs or constantly changing specifications.
What diameter and length range can you turn?
The standard range is ⌀3 to 24 mm, up to 200 mm in length. The rotary transfer sweet spot is ⌀3 to 11 mm, ideal for connectors, spacers, contact pins and fastener-type parts.
Which materials and alloys do you machine?
Brass (CW614N, CW617N, CW508L), lead-free brass (CW510L, CW511L and bismuth-brass), free-cutting steel (11SMnPb30, 11SMnPb37, 1.0718), aluminium (EN AW-2011, EN AW-6082) and copper (CW004A). Gebrema is a European leader in lead-free brass.
Is Gebrema certified, and is production RoHS and REACH compliant?
Yes. Gebrema is ISO 9001:2015 certified and consistently passes customer quality audits run to automotive industry standards. All production is fully RoHS and REACH compliant, with certificates of conformity available on request for every batch.
Is there a minimum order or minimum volume?
Gebrema is built for high-volume, repeat production. Rotary transfer suits 500,000 or more pieces per year. For lower volumes, new product introductions or ramp-up, our CNC turning runs from 10,000 pieces per part number.
How fast do you respond, and how quickly can a part reach full volume?
We respond to a drawing and annual volume within one business day. From approved sample to full volume takes weeks, not months, with PPAP, APQP and FAIR support.
